GeneSpring 13.0
The GeneSpring 13.0 released with some major changes and enhancements in the tool. Below is a list of the major new features in GeneSpring for the 13.0 release: >
Metadata Framework
- Visualize sample associated metadata in conjunction with the clustered experimental results.
- Depending on the type (numerical or categorical, discrete or continuous), view sample parameters as bar chart, scatter plot, profile plot, heat map or label plot.
- Sort and order clustered experimental data and sample parameter plots on the sample parameters.
- Visualize and understand dependencies between samples and their gene, metabolite, or protein expression profiles.
Correlation Analysis
- Find directional linear associations (correlation) between pairs of entities or pairs of samples in an experiment.
- Find correlation between pairs of entities of two different experiments (Multi-Omic Correlation Analysis).
- Cluster entities or samples based on their expression profiles’ correlation coefficients and visualize entities that are co-regulated or share similar biological functions.
- Filter on associated experimental data to extract previously unsuspected relationships between entities or samples.
- Dissect the complexity of your data.
Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) Pathway Analysis
- KEGG pathways are a collection of manually curated pathway maps.
- GeneSpring Pathway Analysis capabilities are enhanced by including KEGG Pathways.
- Once a KEGG license is acquired, the KEGG pathways will be available for download from the Agilent Server through GeneSpring.
New NGS Workflow Between GeneSpring and Strand NGS
- NGS module of GeneSpring is transitioning to Strand NGS for expediting your next-generation sequencing data analysis.
- New workflow allows data integration between Strand NGS and GeneSpring to perform a comparative study.
- Export read and entity level data from Strand NGS to GeneSpring and perform Multi-Omic Pathway Analysis and Correlation Analysis.
